They can also be used to make essay topics more interesting. Of course, most of these arguments are based on a personal experience. Most good essays are based on a generalization of personal experience or personal observations.The term 'argument' can refer to the writing itself, and therefore writers should make sure they do not contradict themselves. Another thing to note is that any writer who wants to make an argument must not confuse the reader by presenting too many different ideas. One idea may not contradict another idea.Argumentative essay samples should encourage students to use their reasoning skills to arrive at a conclusion. Some of the most well known argumentative examples include Gandhi's non-violent resistance to British rule, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s civil rights movement, and the Vietnam War . A well written argument, however, should be short and to the point.Before students begin writing argumentative essay samples, they should develop an argument. If the student is just starting out, the teacher should start the process with questions such as, 'What type of argument do you have in mind?' Or, 'How do you know this?'Students will get better at making arguments as they become more involved in their studies. They should begin the process by writing an outline for the argument that they want to make. The outline should include a list of reasons for supporting each reason, and specific examples to illustrate the point.Some writers prefer to begin their arguments in their office or work space. The teacher should make sure the students have something to write down or take notes on, so that they can have something to start with. They should also have a time table set up so that they know when they should start writing and what they should include in their argument. There shoul d be a time limit set on the essay as well, and it should be on topic and with as much evidence as possible.Many teachers prefer to have students write an essay first before teaching them how to develop their arguments. This is especially true for students who do not have much writing experience. However, many teachers find that writing a short essay is easier than writing a lengthy argument.Argumentative essay samples are usually based on a personal experience.
